The Cubs need to wake up and smell the coffee,Sorry-ano sucks, this guy can't play 2nd or the OF,can't hit worth a s**t either.The Cubs need to start looking for a sucker to take on Sorry-ano,preferably the AL as a DH,since he can't play the field.If it takes taking on part of his salary then do it,this guy is a waste of a spot in the lineup and on the field.

U beat me to it NYN. Cena, that is the most unintelligent post I have seen on this board. In Alfonso Soriano's 7 full seasons in the majors, here are his averages:
BA- .284
hr- 34
rbi- 89 (mostly from the leadoff spot)
sb- 32
I agree with you about his defense, he will never win a gold glove, although he does have a great arm. If you think those offensive numbers suck, you need to see a shrink. If you are basing the fact that he sucks on his first 10-15 AB's this year, that is really not a fair assesment. I like Matt Murton as much as the next guy, but he will never be confused with Soriano.

Stop eating paint chips. The Cubs do not need a left fielder.
They do, however, need to practice the fundamentals. Things like plate discipline, base running, advancing the runners, and defense might help steal a few games like this one.
It's early. Soriano will be fine.

lol cena.. im teeed off at him too for misplaying that ball and hittn for shittt the first 4 games, but replace him with murton??? lets think NOT...
at least give sori til june with his bat before we start rippn him, if he's still battn below .290 and has single digit jacks and low rbi's. SB, and runs scored, and is fielding like .800 in left,... then yes for 20 mil a year he deserves to be ripped.. but not agter 4 games.. hell we can rip everyone on this team but fuku, for the sad offense..

Wow what a stupid statement, you would have been better off saying to move him to 2nd base and bringing up Micah Hoffpair because with your statement i don't think your a Cub fan enough to know that he strained a ab muscle. Now should Lou give him a day off after this crappy offensive start and bad defense, i say hell ya.

Cena is right. We should package Alfanso Soriano, Derek Lee, Aramis Ramirez, and anyone else that gets off to a slow start and trade them for Xavier Nady, Nate McLouth, and Brad Thompson....if you haven't heard of those guys, their hitting and pitching their way to the top of the league at their respective positions after 4 games. Pull the trigger Hendry, the ship is sinking!!!
Settle down people, granted it would be great to be 4-0, but it's the 4th F'ing game of the year!!! The Tigers are 0-4 to the friggin Royals and White Sox....at least we have one "W" on the board.
