Who should OKC draft in the lottery this year???  I know there has been rumors of luring Chris Paul back to OKC next year after his contract is up (which would be awesome) by throwing "mad" money his way, but who should we be going after????  I kinda like the thought of Wilcox, Durrant & Rose . . .

I might use an early 2nd rounder on Roy Hibbert to use as a role player in defensive situations, but I'm never gonna spend a first round pick on a guy who would clearly lose a 40 yard dash against Bryant "Big Country" Reeves.

I have to say Rose, b/c that guys penetration skills are just so amazing, he can break down defenses at any level, then kick to Durant or Green for an open J.

Im sorry but since when has Oklahoma had a basketball team? Because the Sonics arent there yet and when I look around there isnt a team listed in OKC. You know if you guys want to try and discuss these things why not go post on your sooners boards? Because OKC dosent have squat up to this point.

What do you mean when has OKC had a basketball team.  They had one for two years at the NBA level.

I called the Sonics ticket office a few days ago asking to buy front row seat licenses for OKC.  I gave a disclaimer saying "don't get mad before I ask this question, but..."  The guy was very nice and said "no problem sir, just call us back as soon as the court case is over with in June."

So let me get this straight the only way you have had pro teams in OKC are if they get taken from a city or if there is a natural disaster?

Look we dont hate the people of OKC as has been stated many times before but understand where we are coming from when you start coming onto our posts and rub salt in the wounds. Are you all fatties? No probably not but the fact that your mayor starts up a website and program to make the city lose weight tells me somethings up. But like the guy said as you called on the phone. You guys dont have a team yet, they still have a lease they have to honor so wait till June before you start claiming a team as your own.

And there is no way that the courts are going to rule in Bennetts favor. He is in a binding contract with the lease on Key Arena.  You guys have seen a contract before haven't you??  Its one of those things you sign with a pen that says you have certain obligations to whomever is making you sign it.  In this case Bennett inherited it when he bought the team and you can't just break a contract whenever you want to.  You might want to look into the one he put together for Oklahoma City.  The one where he gets 100% of all concessions and merchandise and you get less than 4% of every ticket sold.

They will be there through 2010 and then SOnics will sell out every game and Bennett will sell the team and start a new one in OKC. Maybe who knows. Tradition needs to stay.

Anyway, back to reality, I'd like to see Rose in OKC next year.  That would be a great get!!

You people from OKC are a laugh riot. In case you haven't noticed yet but there is no OKC listed as having a draft pick. So unless the U.S. judicial system is even more corrupt than I think it is now, there won't be an OKC team listed anytime soon.
