lol, do some research buddy.
- all of Western Kentucky's best players are leaving
- There were rumbles that he was on the hot seat at WKU this year
- He's getting payed more
- Although SC went 15-18 they had 18 games decided by 7 points or less and 11 games decided by 3 or less.
- They were weak in the post last year and this year they'll be bringing in the 113 ranked player in this year's class. A 6'8" 250lb PF.
- Point guard Devan Downey will be a Jr next year, led the SEC in points most of the season (finished 3rd), set an SEC single season steals record with 103, and averaged over 5 assists a game.
- The only Senior next year that will be a factor is Zam Fredrick, the majority of the team will be Jr's and Sophomores
- He'll have 3 (not including Downey) great 3 point shooters.
- The team is built perfectly for what he wants to do
- and finally if you say the SEC East is too tough, all he'd need is a couple wins against the Florida's, the Tennessee's, and the Vanderbilt's. The west is weak, and in a big time conference you get more respect from the committee
very simply put
he's no idiot, he's making a great move
at SC they'd be happy just to make the tourney so he's not coming in with a ton of pressure
