Now is the time for Dick Vitale to eat some crow.  Mr. Vitale picked the Tigers to lose to MSU in the sweet sixteen game.  Now that the Tigers have routed both the Spartans and the mighty Longhorns of Texas, I think it is time for Vitale and the rest of the so-called experts to give the Tigers the respect that they deserve.  Hell, they can't even pick on our free-throw shooting after today (76% against MSU, 89% against the 'horns).  I've said all along "We make them when we need to".  I love quoting myself.  Now if Kansas can pull off a victory against Davidson, all four #1 seeds will be in the final four for the first time in tournament history, and then we can see who is the true #1 team in the nation.

The Tigers are on their way to San Antonio for their first trip to the Final Four since 1985.  I am loving every minute of it!  For all the Tiger haters who came out of the wood-works early in the season, talking all the trash that the Tigers would have an early exit from the tournament.  All I can say is enjoy the show that the Tigers are putting on, because I know that I sure am.

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would strongly agree that it is time for Dicky V, Clark Kellogg and the rest of the 'so called" experts to choke down a little crow.  Ever since the tournament has started, except for the Texas Arlington game, these guys have not given Memphis the respect that they deserve.  So, now The Tigers are showing that they aren't asking for respect.  They are demanding it!   Against Michigan State,  a game they were suppose to lose,  Anderson completely shut down star Drew Neitzel, only allowing him six points.  Neitzel's points came only after the game was completely out of hand.  "CDR" played his usual "unstoppable" game.  Then, there was Derrick Rose, who scored 27 points.  He is not only the best freshman in the game this year, but by for the best point guard too.  Memphis hit 24 of 30 free throws for (75%)  Guess they can shoot free throws, Kellogg.

Even after dismantling Michigan State, they still had the nerve to pick Texas over Memphis.  So, what did The Tigers have to do today?  The same thing that they have done all year long.  Play their style of basketball.   A style that only "1" team (Tennesee) was able to figure out this year and they only beat  them by "4" points.  Oh, and by the way, where is Tennessee now? Today, The Tigers totally frustrated Augustin and Abrams.  Augustin and Abrams could never really get their game started, because they could not over come The Tigers quickness and aggressive style of defense.  As for their free throw woes, they shot 89%!

So again, Dicky V., Clark Kellogg and the rest of your "merry band" of "so called" experts, what do The Tigers have to do to gain your respect?  You know, it really doesn't matter at this point.  But, before the tournament ends, you guys need to go out and buy yourselves some "Tiger Blue and White!"  At the end of the tournament, you guys will need some.

Well, in all fairness, Clark Kellogg predicted at the beginning of the tournament that  ALL #1 seeds would make it to the final 4. Seth Davis is the one that said Texas would win the South.

Well Kellogg did pick us to win. He is probably the best at this. He doesn't seem to have favorites unlike Dickie V and his ACC homerism. He actually picked Florida over his Buckeyes in last years tourny. Those ESPN guys suck. GO TIGERS GO.
