Chris Paul should be the MVP this season. Can you name one player who has been more instrumental to his teams' success than Paul has for the Hornets??? Didnt think so.

How about the obvious choice? Kobe. He's kept the Lakers near the top of the West with far less talent than what Pauls been working with. Plus his front line (Gasol and Bynum) have been out with injuries for significant portions of the season. So why not give the MVP to Kobe the best player in the league and the most valuable. Pauls very good, but he's surrounded by a lot of talent. Without that talent he can't carry a team. he can't score 50, or play defense, or carry a team on his back. He's just a very good player on a very good team. Deal with reality. Not fantasy, Dummy.

They're both having good seasons and you could make a very good case for either one.  Both play good defense, draw double teams, share the ball (Kobe made a big improvement on this), and scoring points.  I would probably say Paul because of his turnover steal margin.  He is incredible at handling the ball and getting steals.

LOL,  I had to respond to this retarded post.  You can say what you want about the talent surrounding Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant; however, you may want to actually watch someone other than your loverboy.  Chris Paul can't score, averages 21.4 points per game (7 less than your BFF).  Not bad for someone incapable of scoring.  Can't play defense.  He's one of the best defenders at his position and leads the league in steals (FYI, the ever so dreamy Kobe may want to pick up a few tips on playind D from CP3).  Can't carry his team on his back....he's done it numerous times this season.  Selvishly scoring is not the only way to carry a team.

One more reason CP3 is a better teammate than Kobe.  you will never see him throw his team under the bus and publicly demand to be traded b/c his team is not good enough to play alongside of him.
