Though I think TN fell off late this season due to chemistry and coaching, both of which Pearl is responsible for;  He has been the best thing that has happened to Knoxville in a long time.

He have rejuvenated UT Basketball that has been subpar since the new arena was built.

He adds a new attitude to UT sports.

AND

He definitely puts some pressure on the "Great Pumpkin" - to step up or step out !!!!!!!

We love TN basketball!  BUT it will always be a football school.....

The reason they lost in the tourny was because Chris Lofton couldn't get going. It wasn't al his fault because he was being double teamed or the best defender woud follow him no matter what happned in the play. I don't think any of it can be blamed on Pearl and TENN. needs to keep Pearl at all costs.

FIRE Fulmer!

That must pay Pearl what he is worth. If he goes elsewhere, what other top tier coach would come to UT? We would be stuck taking a chance on another unknown, who if he were good would be looking for more pay in two or three years. So avoid the vicious cycle and pay Pearl what he wants.

Yes sir you're right the University of Tennessee is definately a football state and may I add very unforgiving. Coach Fulmer is lucky he didn't have a moving van in front of his home early last season.  Pearl better remember that.  The beating  that the Louisville Cardinals gave them won't be forgotten.
