I'll cut the list down even more
Harris, Kristic, and RJ. For me, everyone else can go.
VC: expendable. Vince can still put up the points, but he can also give up the points. Defense was once our staple, now its anfter thought.
Boone: I like what Boone has done, but I hate his lack of intensity. If the kid invested some time in the weightroom and free throw line sessions, he could make himself some big money when he becomes a free agent.
Marcus: Limited. Can stay or go. Won't cry if he was included in a package.
Diop: Dime a dozen player. Can stay and play a role. Like J. Collins, no big deal player.
S. Williams: Young player with some value. Some team clearing cap room may want a young S. Williams type guy in return for a proven commodity.
We are not going to get a top ten pick in the draft if we fall. Big man and shooter are needs that must be addressed. Solid PFs are hard to come by. Who knows if Swift or S. Williams will develop into anything. We may be able to get Jermaine Oneal but he comes as an injury risk. Moreover, where the hell is the DDDD-fense.
I am a fan and supporter of Frank, but the team defense has gone down the toilet. Every team will score over 100 points when the Nets come into town. THE NETS ARE A JOKE ON THE ROAD. I play fantasy league Basketball. Whom ever the three top players on the opposing team that the Nets are facing average-points-per-game spike up when the Nets come to town. Bryan Scott worked the team hard at practice to the point they hated him. But under him, we played defense. The players seem to like and respect Frank, but that mean nothing without effective execution. We won with Jason Collins and ( the most over rated Net of all time/ a shooter whom couldn't shot) Kerry Kittles.
Not making the playoff will not hurt me. Being a Nets fan, we've been there. I want to see the positive direction that this team is going. Rod and Kiki need to get to work. Frank better up his efforts. That Pacers game was a joke.
