Finest- Up until your response I was building momentum in me to shed tears and no kidding- after reading your response the tears burst within me-  This story is so magical and surreal I can not believe it yet.  It is as if we are reading a elementary fairtale of David verus Goliah only this is happening right before our eyes.  The tale of the bully and the coward who stands up to him with more than just bark.

Finest- you absolutely naile it in your response as all responses are great.  This is one loaded thread and one must be careful or the emotions and tears will certainly flow.  Just thinking about Davidson losing has me tearing up already.  I love this team, all the players are playing their roles ala Goerge MASON.  I don't even know all of the starters names but I love have they play together.  CUrry on the other hand-  MY GOODNESS!  It is one thing to play one or two good games, but three against teams twice your size is unheard of.  Words can't convey what we are witnessing.  Then to find out they have won 25 in a row?  Davidson has been a quiet giant now roaring under the brightest spotlight.

The poise the entire team is displaying is incredible.  I was waitng for the team to erupt like they had won the NC after the win but they simply gave high fives, gasve their congrats to the other team and roled out.  They don't look like a young team from a young school at all.  Curry is only a sophomore???? How in the world did we pass him up at UNC?  AND DID WE NEEDS GUARDS THIS YEAR LIKE CRAZY.

Davidson, magical season if even you lose tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!  Do I think so, I can't bet against you with the magic you are showing.

Well, I picked them over Georgetown, I just didn't think they would beat Wisconsin.  It's a shame, though, that they have to play Kansas next...I wanted to see them make it to the Final Four, but I can't have them beating my Jayhawks.  When George Mason made the Final Four in 2006, they beat my WuShocks, so it would really be painful if my other team got knocked out by the big mid-major story.  This game really worries me, but Kansas has taken care of teams that were led by one player: Texas and Durant last year, Beasley and K-State this year.  Kansas is probably a better defensive team than Wisconsin and Georgetown, but they are also a lot better offensively than both, too.  A just don't think Davidson will be able to keep up with the 'Hawks.

I've watched the game a number of times now.

The Badgers got literally pummeled into submission. Not Just Micheal Flowers.

I wouldn't make my free throws either if I was kicked in the shins and elbowed in the face.

This isn't boxing. This is basketball.

There were so many charges and elbows to the head, etc. that weren't even called. Brian Butch got knocked down at least five times in the second half alone.

Quit giving props to a team that doesn't deserve it and watch the game again.

Yeah, they won... but so did New England. We all know they cheated too.

You turn into more of a candy-ass with each post.  Go get your nads out of your mom's underwear drawer and man up to this:

Davidson Starting Lineup Average: 201 pounds

Wisconsin Starting Lineup Average: 211 pounds

Wisconsin has four guys 6"10 or better, and four more that are 6'7-6'8".  Davidson's tallest two guys are 6'9", and they combined for one minute last night.

So you're still crying like a little girl because Davidson beat your guys up, when they average 10 pounds less per starter and don't have nearly the height of Wisconsin?  I thought the Big Ten was the toughest, most physical conference in America.

Can you at least try to be a man?

Hackabadger:

Why didn't the bigger (taller) BIG 10 school team join the football game and beat up on the smaller southern team with the shooter extraoridaire. Since when were the badgers such a finesse team? I thought they were supposed to dominate teams inside where the hacking occured?

To hear you tell it HACKabadger, Davidson ...

  • Won the basketball game
  • Won the football game
  • Did exactly as your ScreenName directed; Hack a Badger. In fact, they hacked every badger!

And I think all that just points to the fact that this is a very well schooled and coached  Davidson team.

If you gave them another instruction, they would have carried that out too!
