Rubbing it in to perfect strangers just to hurt people's feelings, no matter what team, is not kind, classy, or smart. Period.
If a perfect stranger can guarantee victory then it is perfectly legal to rub their face in defeat.
The internet is unkind.

i have a poor memory sometimes, but i dont seem to recall guaranteeing a victory...
...if some other badger fan(s) got too big for their britches then go hold it over their heads. just because we have the largest contingency of fans this side of duke and unc doesnt mean we are all the same. some of us were actually worried about davidson, and (obviously) rightfully so.

And they have every right - worst 30-win team I have watched in a long time. There is no excuse for getting schooled my a mid-major, Curry or not. No Excuse.Okay Plato... you keep cheering for that Big Six school of yours. You are so out of the time. You can't call Davidson, who have 27 wins, swept their conference and made their second straight tournament a mid-major. They have a star player and have pretty much proven they have a major program.
If you're good, you're good... if you're bad, you're bad. There is no "Mid-Major".
Florida press conference, before game vs. Butler (Sweet Sixteen '07):
"If you win 25 games and beat everybody in your way... you are not a Mid-Major. No team that makes it this far in this tournament is a Mid-Major."

I agree that the Internet can be unkind, but it can also be gracious, helpful, silly or whatever we choose to make of it. Guaranteeing victory is a silly thing to do, and I never do it (except to tease people I know, and only then in person) , but even for a team I dislike, I don't believe rubbing salt in the wounds, especially when the wounds are fresh, is sportsmanlike. I'm old school that way.

They kicked us around 8 ways to Sunday today. Hell, they took us to graduate school. All you can do is be gracious and tip your cap to 'em.

Badge, I feel for you man, but the better team won. Wisc did not play well, but a lot of that had to do with Davidson. They are one of the top 10 teams in the country. Texans has it right. Any team in the final 8 is capable of winning the whole thing.
