Bruwins, WSUcougar05 -- while checking out your message board, I just found Bruwins' post on this from October of last year. Guess either CNN/SI was slow on the uptake or I was! DOH! Sorry to be so late to the table with it.
I read the posts there about the financial aspect and the fact that Rochestie is from a well-off family. But, according to the CNN/SI story, I guess it's more about how it is perceived to not be on scholarship than it is to have to pay for a year's worth of education.
Either way, it still represents a great sacrifice for someone that young to make. Good for him!
