The Blazers missed their opportunity to get a franchise point guard when they wouldn't let Outlaw go in the deal for Devin Harris.  Devin Harris would have been a great addition to this starting 5 for years to come.  The Blazers need to get a PG of the future and stop messing around with this PG by committee.

GO BLAZERS!

i might be the only one but I'm happy they didnt trade Travis Outlaw. Outlaw is a fan favorite and a great clutch player. Outlaw bring alot of energy to the court.

I agree Outlaw is worth more than Harris... He has done crap for New Jersey and he wasnt all that great in Dallas.  Was he going to magically morph into Chris Paul because he put on a Blazers Uniform... NO!!!  Outlaw is Money!  I would give up Martell b4 i gave up TO!  1st things first get rid of Miles and Lafrenz...  I like Jacks slashing to the hoop but he is inconsistant so i wouldnt mind seeing him go.

Rashad stop talking out of your @ss.  Your basketball knowledge is humorous at best.  Travis Outlaw worth more than Harris?  Find one NBA personnel that would agree with that statement and I will eat my words.

No one said he would turn into Chris Paul, CP3 is the best PG in the NBA.  And on the Travis deal I love Travis Outlaw and always said we should keep him even when the Blazers were trying to trade him, because I knew he would be good.  But the problem is that this team is set to make a deep playoff run in the next few years and we can not do it with either the PG's we have or a young PG with no experience.

All I am saying is it would have been nice to get a PG of Harris' caliber for the future because he is not only young, but he is experienced.

BTW, Harris is averaging 16 pts and 6 assists with the Nets and outlaw is averaging 13 pts and  4 reb.  Just some FACTS for you, not just a  bunch of  emotional nonsense that you spew.

Finally, of course everyone would rather see Martell go, but he won't bring us what Travis will in the trade market.

Well with 10 games left we'll have to wait for the offseason and see what Pritchard and big Nate want to do.  Travis Outlaw is great off the bench and I would love to see him in a Blazers uniform for many years to come, I don't think he has reached his potential by any means.  We do though need an upgrade at the point at some time.  Steve Blake does ok and I think he is a team player but nothing to flashy....Jarret Jack is hit and miss from game to game....and Sergio needs more time I think, he hasn't played enough.  It will be an interesting offseason for sure.  On another note.....can't wait to be rid of Darius Miles!
