Great year for Cummard, living up to his pre season all american status bestowed upon him by http://www.bofads.com/stories/allamerican.htm (I think he should have made more legit lists).

Any chance that he improves his game next year and goes pro?

They'd have to go deeper in the tourney next year, but I think he can become legit.

o ya i think if his season is as good or even better he could easily go to the nba in 2 years. But think of how good him Tavinari and Plasted will be together assuming that they dont go to the nba. Look at our freshman to if they improve any at all we have a really good young team.i think that next years team is going to be a ton better than last year and have potential to go pretty far in the big dance.

Ummm...seriously?  You do realize that that site was a spoof site right?  Did you notice that all the players on their first team had references to the slang name for a particular male bodily fluid.  There's your answer as to why he didn't make more "legit" pre-season all-america lists.  LOL!!!  Moron!!

First Team Preseason All Americans: These masters of the roundballs will surprise you with their explosion this season.

Guard Josh Cummings, Bethune-Cookman Wildcats

Guard Paul Cummins, Lafayette Leopards

Guard Isacc ("I sac") Miles, Murray State Racers

Guard-Forward Lee Cummard, BYU Cougars

Forward Wayne Chism, Tennesee Volunteers

News and Notes: It's tough to block shots of Chism, who led the Volunteers to the NCAA Tourney last year. Defensively, no player wants Cummings in their face. Although he hasn't shown much explosion yet, I-sac is poised to erupt at any point this year. When he does, Murray State fans will have their rally towels ready. Critics of our methodology may have a tough time swallowing Cummard being on this list, but he makes it rain.

ROFL!!!  How can you ibeciles miss the point?  This is funny stuff!  Pay close attention to the "News and Notes."  Do you not realize this is a spoof?  LOL!!  Good one thinking this was an actual pre-season all-america team bigsquirrels!  It's a pre-season all-ameri-c@m!!  HAHAHAHA!!!

haha

aw, man.  I'm so sorry I missed it.  I've been away handling business and family life since my bo's lost in the nit.  But OMG how I love to see BYU fans look dumb.  Good lookin, merv.

Actually, I think if Cougar fans keep stroking his ego Cummard might hit either the toilet seat, a bundle of tissue, or both in 2010.

lol.

zcase, I love how you make it seem like all BYU fans didn't get it. Two posters who obviously have a bit higher moral psychology than the rest of us, didn't get it and now all BYU fans look dumb. Nice job morons! (speaking of zcase and Merv here) Zcase do you want to refer to something that really made someone look dumb? I know this buffoon that was all over the MWC boards a few weeks ago, outraged at the MVP award only to see that the majority of MWC fans did not agree with him. This same moron, who claimed to have the best player in the league's team couldn't get out of the first round of the MWC tourney in a must win game. Boy, I bet that moron must feel "really dumb" right about now.
