wanna talk a monopoly, these folks in nashville are being charged $6.50 per lb for cooked crawdads. I was dumbfounded when the price finally registered and i knew they weren't joking. Just thought I would remind you all who have stuck it out and stayed in the hometown of how fortunate you are to have such a comodity of luxuries.

One more thing I can't really help mentioning.

As I said before, and as my list of favorite teams probably gives you a good idea, most of my likes and hates are based on Maryland (and surrounding area) teams.  So, apart from Florida, Tennessee, and Mississippi State in basketball, and South Carolina and Georgia in football, my primary targets of sports hatred are not SEC:  Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Army get the bulk of my venom as far as football goes.  But my Redskins roots combines with my Saints fanhood to make for a double helping of hatred of the Cowboys.  Which reminds me...my parents live in northwest Louisiana, and in 2006, when the Saints played the Cowboys at the Independence Bowl, we headed over.  For some reason, we were shocked at just how much we were in the minority as Saints fans and Cowboys haters.  That fact, coupled with the fact that the Independence Bowl will endure in my memory as the worst football stadium for a fan EVER, made me leave before halftime and catch the rest of the game at a bar across from Centenary College.

Apparently, there was more than one thing I really couldn't help mentioning.

Oooh, good call tomkat...I like the all-time favorite Saint add-on...

For me, Hoby Brenner is up there, but that's mostly because he visited the junior high school I went to in West Carroll Parish.  Quinn Early ranks highly, too.  Fred McAfee's right there with them.  Tommy Barnhardt would be higher if I could justify having a punter higher.  Since I can't pick one of the Dome Patrol because I can't stand the thought of breaking them up in any way, shape, or form, I'll just say it's a tie for first.
