"Three teams this season couldn't break 40 against the Badgers. Curry might just do it by himself."
Honestly now. I rooted for Curry and Davidson in their first two matches. It was fun watching that. But if you think he'll put up 40 against the Badgers, you better think again. WI is where it's at for a reason...and Curry has not had to face a defender like Michael Flowers yet in this tournament. The WI D is tops in the nation this year, and Flowers is a big part of that. Curry may put up 20-ish, but he won't get 40. And I get a bit tired of the bandwagon-riding sports "journalists" who suddenly are all over guys like Curry. Where were you earlier in the year? Were you covering him then? Or are you just riding the wave now...hoping to look prescient with a prediction that he'll lay 40 on WI? Good luck with that - you're late to the game and trying to hard to catch up...and in doing so you've failed to analyze the matchups and reasons why he was able to light it up and why he most likely won't be able to do it against WI. Get off bandwagon thought and do some real sports analysis. Oh...that would mean talking about something else like maybe that WI has a real chance to take down Kansas...we can't have that, now can we?

Since you pride yourself on analyzing the competition, perhaps you should review the Davidson games against, UNC, DUKE, UCLA, etc.. Read Roy Williams and Coach K's comments about their games against the Wildcats. Because your conference can't compete with the ACC in b-ball, don't you think their words have have some valid credibility ?
This is a small, well coached progam that has STUDENT athletes, not a D-1 program that could be a semi-pro team. You have a good coach and team , the best that money can buy. They are more than just a "Curry up" offensive team.
Davidson and Badger Ball sounds like an variation of an old biblical story. Should be an interesting game.....

Curry is the best shooter in the nation possibly, and best player overall when you factor in height you can't take that away from him I think he will do a good bit of damage against wisky because of the team speed of davidson with wisky being very slow

He almost did 40 against G-town...why is it out of reach for Wiss.?
And we've been following Curry here in Charlotte for years. His dad runs some of the best "pickup" games (in quotes because you have to be invited) out of the Charlotte Latin gym and Stephen been a rat there for years...learning from the best.
Curry intelligent, pedigreed, and in a system that plays to the guards. I'd put a dime on hime getting 30+, a nickel on 40+.

I was at the game Thursday night when some 6 foot guard from Fullerton St threw up 31 points on your beloved Badgers. And this guy doesn't hold a candle to Curry. Of course the wisco thugs will whatever it takes to stop Curry. He better watch out for the flying elbows from the dirtiest team in the country.

I didn't hear an annoucer say anything about Reggie Miller, but I've been thinking that's who Curry reminds me of (short hair, lanky, baby-faced, and deadly accurate)...Nice post sportscience.

With the purest shot I have seen in awhile, Curry can lay 30 on anyone. With a little luck he will put 45 on another over ranked big 10 school.

I do think curry is a great shooter and a great plyer but to say he is gonna drop 40 on wisconsin is just plain stupid. because your player gets hot doesnt mean get cocky and talk like is the best player in the world. in case you have forgotten michael beasley is prolly the top canidate fot NPOTY and he is back in manhattan right now so if you plan on beating us i recommend you bring more than just curry.

I actually like what you have to say here. Curry will definitely not drop 40, but then again, how many 40 point performances have there been all season? And against Wisconsin it just won't happen. I don't care where Curry has been playing pick up games, who he has put up 25 a game against, etc., it's unlikely as hell he'll do it again. If he even drops 25 he should be proud because he did so against top notch defensive competition and he will have almost certainly given his team a chance to win. But let's not go overboard here, he's not putting up 40 against the Badgers. Like I said before, predicting 40 against anybody is ludicrous, it just doesn't happen often. Curry's first game was an amazing game but don't count on it being duplicated.
