As an Irish fan, I extend my hand to shake yours and wishing the Washington State Cougars good luck today against my Fightin' Irish. I am expecting a great game from both teams. I've heard Wazzou in sports news plenty of times in the sports news, so I know you guys are good and can pull off a win. and you guys just beat up Winthrop, a team that beat my Irish last year in the 1st round. I can't wait to  see a great game.

GO IRISH!

I'm a ND fan. Washington St reminds me of Georgetown. Well coached discipline team. Great defense.

The Cougs are chalk full of Seniors that got bounced in the 2nd round last year in OT, and I think it's working to their advantage this year.  So.....for what it's worth, as long as Harangody stays for another year, the Irish are going to be a very touch matchup next year with Kurz as the only graduating player on this year's Irish squad.

Very gracious of you, Irishfan, to extend best wishes to the Cougs. It's refreshing to see someone who still believes in true sportsmanship. I'm a Washington Husky fan myself, but I also want to extend my congratulations to the Cougs on their great play so far, and I'm pulling for them to go all the way!!!

sadly I wasn't able to catch any of the Wash St win on Saturday - thanks to being busy and CBS' crappy scheduling and showing too much of some games and very little of others. Hopefully enough of the country will get to see the Cougars as they battle the Heels.

I like ND in the games I saw earlier this year, especially Harrongody.

Sounds like Wazzu sent a message though, one that maybe not enough of the country got. Cougars - be patient on offense, it's your best chance against the Heels, it could drive them a tad crazy and make them panic. Your defense is great - your offense patient and efficient - pure skill doesn't always beat disciplined players and great coaching.

btw - if you ever can get some of it, Cougar cheese kicks ass! My aunt's sister teaches up in Pullman and sends a bunch down every year.

You need to get some of this......http://www.ncaasports.com/mmod/welcome

I watched a majority of both of WSU's games on my laptop, because all they want to show down here are the Big 12 games.

And......Cougar Gold cheese is definitely some good stuff.  Their ice cream is even better than their cheese though.  Gotta swing by Ferdinands if you're ever in Pullman.
