What's comical to me about this 7th grader is that he actually thinks he's winning this argument. You'd have to be a bigger buffoon that I previously thought humanly possible to think that you are in any way getting the best of this argument RV. Here we go again. Round and round. Where your idiocy stops, nobody knows.

1. What you are trying to argue is that there are lots of schools that care about basketball more than football. Your arguments are unfounded and unfactual. There is a difference between schools who have great programs in basketball and good fan bases for the sport and that somehow meaning the sport is more popular than football on their campus. Again, all you have to do is look at attendance, revenue and television audience to know which sport the fans of each of these school cares about the most. The only schools I'll give you are UNLV, Duke and possibly NC. I can guarantee you and I'm sure the numbers will back me up on this that football is still more popular at Syracuse and Louisville than basketball is. Look it up. I gaurantee you the numbers will show a higher viewing audience for their football games.

2. RV, if you don't want to be called a bigot, well then don't make bigotted inferences like I have a "holier than thou attitude", when I've never mentioned religion or spirituality. This is something you BYU bashers just love to do. Pretend that if we defend our team and call you a moron, etc that somehow means we're "holier than thou", based on the fact that BYU is associated with Mormonism. You started that war bud, not me. Yes I would rather you say stuckup, arrogant, cocky. All things that I am and not ashamed in the least bit. I could say the exact same thing about you and 90% of the UNLV fans I've run across in these forums. Holier than thou is not a real intelligent term to use when talking with a BYU fan, because the assumption is you're lumping religion into it.

3. So once again, in your feeble mind a team that basically plays even with a team they are not favored to beat and losing in the last minute or two choked? In the words of Jim Carey. "Man, you are one pathetic loser!" Maybe its a pattern, maybe its not. What I see is a team that is getting matched up against teams that take advantage of their weakness and that is big, physical post players. Xavier and A & M both had that. I see UNLV getting matched up against teams in the first round that don't have that eliment. Once again, if you knew anything about basketball, you'd know that not every team matches up well, whether they are favored or higher seeded or what have you. You calling BYU chokers is disingenous and sophmoric at best.

4. Of course its not your fault where the tourney is played. Nobody said it was. It is however your fault for pretending that its not a huge advantage for your team and pretending anyone who loses to you in the tourney is a choker. I have never had a problem with the tourney being in Vegas. My problem is idiots like you who think that winning the tourney on your own homecourt is a bigger accomplishment than winning the regular season title. You didn't have to win those games on your homecourt. Sure it helps, but every bracket expert I saw, had your team in regardless. Quit trying to spin it like its not an advantage for you. Its just ridiculous fo UNLV fans to try and spin it that way. Sorry nobody's buying that bill of goods over here.

What I love about UNLV fans is your last statement about shots at UNLV football not bothering you. That's the exact reason BYU fans, especially myself have zero respect for your fanbase. You're a bunch of fair weather buffoons. Nobody's going to take you seriously as a fanbase until you fully support both programs. The MWC needs UNLV to improve its football program and stop losing to teams like Utah St and Nevada every year. Something tells me that's never going to happen, because in UNLV fans minds, its always "don't talk to me about football, its March".

PS: RV, I'm going out of town so I won't be able to respond until Monday. Just letting you know, since you said you were going to be here "ALL DAY baby ALL DAY".

Dear Mr. Wacker ( i keep forgetting sorry!)

1.First off let me ask you something...when you spell assumption what are the first three letters? Oh yeah as$, because thats exactly what you sound like when you can call me a moron all day which i take NO offense to at all but i make a comment thats obviously a figure of speech and you get your  1981 divison II daisy duke baskeball shorts all wound up!!!! weird, you apparently have a double standard in which you follow religously!!! oh sorry i cant say that because lord knows someone is bound to get pissed off....not my problem  so i can care less....Like i said before you dont know me and i dont know you and im going to leave it at that

2.Im not pretending that the tourney being here isnt an advantage. I know it is, if you were to read what i typed earlier (we all know you didnt) i am in favor of it being on a neatural floor LIKE I TYPED EARLIER so i dont have to hear byu fans complain about a homecourt advantage. It would be no problem for me to enjoy UNLV handing byu some more of the as$ whippings we are accustomed to giving on a neatural floor so i can hear the excuses' after that.

3.If you are all about factual evidence and all how can you come to a conclusion that UNLV had back to back teams that didnt have the "physical element"?G. Tech last year had a lineup where their shortest player was 6"4 and two freshmen who are now in the NBA....but we still won no matter the matchup...same thing against wisconsin they were "more physical" we still won....every game we played this year our center was 6"7 and we still won...please stop trying to justify byu's short comings agsint teams outside provo it really just shows how little you know about basketball..

PS: ITS MARCH football has its time and place..

Whacker? OOOh that's a good one RV. And quite hurtful I might add. I'm not sure how I can possibly go on knowing that some uneducated dipwad from Vegas called me a "whacker" and an "ass". Whatever will I do?

1. I'm not sure what your incoherent ramblings from your first point had to do with anything. You didn't address a single point I made above in your first paragraph. By all means keep avoiding my points and continue your silly ramblings though. Its great comedy.

2. You may not pretend its not an advantage to play the tourney in Vegas, but you sure as all hell love to pretend that UNLV beating us in the tourney in Vegas means we're chokers and not as good as your mighty squad of dogooders. You don't get it buffoon boy. Quit acting like you guys "always" beat us and are sooooo much better, because you win in Vegas. The point is, if the venues were reversed, you'd be losing to us. BTW, BYU is actually 11-10 against UNLV in the past 9 seasons. Not bad considering, 60% of those games were at the T & M. But go ahead and keep believing that you own us moron.

3. First off, I never said UNLV's team last season didn't have the physical element. You did. UNLV was much more equipped to handle themselves against big, physical teams downlow last year. Last year, UNLV had an excellent team. This season, they were fortune to get the draw they did. Against a team that couldn't take advantage of them down low. Thanks for letting me know how little I know about basketball though RV. Coming from a total buffoon like yourself, I can't help but go cry now. You are a true moronic idiot of epic proportions.

PS: Its April and football spring practice is in session my man. Again, fans like you are the reason UNLV's football program will always be a DI laughing stock. Good luck fair weather Joe.
