The Kings are without a doubt a decent team with Artest and Kevin Martin.Add a little frontcourt help in the draft and the Kings could be on their way.But will they resign Artest is the question?Him and Martin seem to play well together. Its just ashame they pulled the trigger on Bibby this season.Might of been smart to save his 14 million dollar expiring contract and pair him with a draft pick and a young guy for a contributor?Oh well maybe the Kings will luck out and land a top 5 pick eh?I think with a good draft and maybe if Spencer develops the Kings could be a sleeper to make the playoffs next year.Id bring back Udrih and Artest and try go land a thicker frontcourt player through draft or trade.
Thats a pleasant thought but I am pretty certain they will let Artest go next year. They were desperately trying to trade him prior to the deadline but could not work out a deal with Denver. Keep Udrih, Martin and most of the rest of the gang and hope for a good pick. The team's got some talent they just need a year or two to mature and meld as unit before taking on the extremely talented Western conference.
I complete agree with you that we should resign him. He's a great player who never takes a game off. I would like to go for a big man like Elton Brand, Jermaine O'Neal, Shaq or Hibbert in the draft. Elton Brand would be the best pickup IMO and would make us real contenders.
I agree with you that Artest is still acceptable in Kings, i think the kings shall not trade him, but how 'bout Martin to Suns for Barbosa and Bell, is it a good IDEA??
I just don't see Artest withe Kings next year, they tried too hard to get rid of him. I believe Hawes will be pushing for a Starting spot next year. the more min. he's getting the better he looks. he needs to get the minutes in these remaining games. if we can get a couple solid players we can contend for a playoff spot next year, though going anywhere is going to be tough in the West.

Yeah it's really decent trade, by the way what do you think the Kings must do to improve next YEAR? Must There any changes to the formation? I'm sure that Martin will continue to improve every single year, but i'm not sure with Artest, he often get injured this season. Also, Injury Problems have occured to the Kings This season, players like, Udrih, Abdur Rahim, Martin, and Miller have inured this season, i think if the Kings has no injury problems, they will be more solid next season, isn't it.
