I haven't posted in a long time but now that I have the unusual opportunity of watching my alma mater, Mt. St. Mary's, take on my favorite team since I was a kid, North Carolina, it warrants a comment.
While I would like to see the Mount give UNC a run, I fully expect Roy's bunch to use them as a warmup for the games ahead. Besides, I picked the Tarheels to win it all - again - so they have to.
If you think this is a conflict, I actually have a family member (specifically, my grandfather's cousin) who was 2nd team All American...in basketball...at DOOK! It was in 1947 but I didn't hate Dook any less when I found that out. Nor did I when I found out I share a birthday with their coach.
Despite all this adversity ;-) I am still a Tarheel fan and it will be a great run... go Heels!
