its not that hard to by pass this thread if you dont agree with what hes saying. sure there are probably better places for this thread.

but hes not hurting anyone by posting it. and its only being forced (as some of you have put it) on you if you click on the thread and read the whole post.

if you avoid the thread and never read it then it isnt effecting you and he isnt preaching to you. and it will go away faster. its as simple as that.

you guys could also try not being so sensitive about it. if you dont reply then the thread wont last long.

i dont have a problem with this thread. look at all the other threads on the front page.

nothing against the authors of these threads. but some of you are upset over this guy making this thread twice. well a lot of the above threads have been made about a 100 times in the last year. but no one is throwing a big fit about them. and im guessing most of you dont go into the threads and get mad at the person who started them. you probably just by pass them by if you dont like them.

the kid that started this thread has never studied islam, judaism, budhism, hinduism or any other ism, but he is soooooooo sure of what he knows.  He is as naive as I am drunk....which the answer is 'pretty damn' if you were wondering.

Hey kid, I am more than willing to take your pm challenge.  I am going to Costa Rica for a week, but I'll check in every few days.  When we get back we can compare bible/ historical knowledge all day long.  Most likely, Ive been studying this since before you had pubes.

He isn't trying to impose his beliefs on anyone as far as I can see.  He is simply trying, out of the goodness of his heart, to share a gift, something that has obviously had a positive impact on his life.   You are of course free to reject this gift but can't you at least appreciate the spirit in which it was offered?

Let him post whatever he wants, if you think he is full of it, go to the why I juggle chainsaws thread...........

I do not go to church, but if someone wants to make it their life's mission to spread the joy he found, I would not deny him that privilege. It's still better than discussing our current Presidential race, at least with religeon you have good choices to select from.

Maybe his is young and naiive, but are we better off being older, wiser, and more judgemental?

1. 1. When this is your second thread on the topic, it is safe to say you're trying to impose your beliefs on us. I respect your beliefs, but this isn't the right place for spreading christianity.
   2. You may believe with all your heart that that is the truth, but there is no way to know for sure.
   3. You "irked" a lot of people on here.

   I'm not trying to challenge your faith, I just think there are better places to spread

Hopefully the last word was a typo. If not, IMO you've ruined a perfectly decent post. I agree with 1 and 3 but 2 I think is a personal thing. We can and are sure, others do not.

As a Christian I agree with the thoughts of the poster, and understand that part of our duty is to reach out to others and share the gospel, I just have a hard time thinking that this is the place to do so.
