There are parts of my relationship with God that I know beyond any doubt and there are parts I 'believe' based on what I've learned and formed opinions on.

So do you know or believe who gets into heaven?

It;s very simple.  Do humans practice the act of punishment?  If you answer yes, then you are saying it is a characteristic displayed by humans.

How can we say that punishment is a human characteristic

You should broaden your horizons and meet some true Christians, because your comment was way off the mark my friend. Much like your "nearly every" and "most" comments were yesterday.  Just as I predicted, you have a problem with a statement like that being turned back towards you.

and if we can come to the firm, unwavering conviction that MAN and everything else is a product of creation......

By your own statement that everything is a product of creation, God then was created.  In fact many, many gods have been created.  If I have seen gods like Mercury, Mars and Apollo created, then by the line of lohic you are arguing, all gods must then have a creator.  I search for this creator and find humans at the other end.

HE will reveal HIMSELF to you.......only if you seek HIM

I did search.  He won the game of hide and seek.

Man has to be created

So do actual sentences, so people can follow what you are saying.  Jumping through random thought and attemting to apply it as proof  is reason enough for rejection of your theory.  If you believed so strongly in it I would think that it would be worth the time to present it in complete thoughts and sentences not jumbled fragments.  Presenting it in a jumbled manner makes it more difficult to be put forward for scrutiny, and makes me question what the author is avoiding.

So do you know or believe who gets into heaven?I've stated a few times on this thread.. weren't you paying attention? :P I think you lose focus when your clowns are gone lol. Sorry.. couldn't resist. I noted earlier in this thread that I believe as does the basic Christian faith.. that all who accept Christ as their savior will be in Heaven. I also noted that I honestly hope and pray that I am wrong about Jesus being the only key and that others will be accepted as well..
It;s very simple.  Do humans practice the act of punishment?  If you answer yes, then you are saying it is a characteristic displayed by humans.Maybe I should clarify the statement I made "How can we say that punishment is a human characteristic". I did not mean it that directly, I suppose I should have said how can we say that punishment is a human only characteristic and unavailable to God?

Much like your "nearly every" and "most" comments were yesterday.  Just as I predicted, you have a problem with a statement like that being turned back towards you.Not at all.... he did not say 'nearly every' or 'most' and never clarified he was speaking of those he knew. He clearly stated ALL and even went to the point of capitalizing it. I was defending the happiness of Christians I knew in response to someone who stated otherwise.. I was not making a negative response concerning all Atheists as he was ALL Christians. I thought I was very respectful in my response to him showing not all Christians felt that way. You should know me better than that by now Kicks.. why are you so on the offensive today?

God is eternal :) What I don't know is if there is anything else that is eternal as well. We all know at least one thing has to be eternal (unless you believe in the 'nothingness' theory that Science has already rebuked) .... but  a thought to ponder even if you are not a believer, is what exactly in our Universe is eternal?
So do actual sentences, so people can follow what you are saying.  Jumping through random thought and attemting to apply it as proof  is reason enough for rejection of your theory.  If you believed so strongly in it I would think that it would be worth the time to present it in complete thoughts and sentences not jumbled fragments.  Presenting it in a jumbled manner makes it more difficult to be put forward for scrutiny, and makes me question what the author is avoiding.
I'm going to assume you're just having a bad day Kicks, you're not usually like this in your posts ;) It's clear that English is not his first language and I applaud him for making the attempt and making his point as clear as it is.

Much has been said on this thread already, both for and against.

Gotta say big-ups to the OP (original Poster).

The Bible says to go out and proclaim His word, everywhere you go. Why should the sports message board be any different? It seems apparent that most here don't believe in the stuff, but you never know who could come across this thread and take up an interest.

I have no problem with people who choose not to accept Jesus. You make your bed in this world. Then you sleep in it for eternity. What if this whole Christianity thing is fake? Well I know that by following God's principles I lived a happy, fulfilling life and always tried to be a decent person and to be compassionate to my fellow man. So even if this whole thing is a hoax, I can sleep at night knowing I try to be a good person.

But I also know that if this is right, and Jesus does truly save all those who believe in him, then I have my seat at the eternal Super Bowl, and every seat is the best seat in the house.

Big Props to the Jesus, and to the guy who started this thread. My prayers are with all those who condemn him for his faith. I pray that you find eternal happiness and peace, as this brother has.

I'm conducting a little experiment.  I know I'm coming off
