Oregon is a team that I do not know what to do with in my bracket. Which Oregon team will show up? The one that beat Stanford by five or the one that lost to Stanford by 29? This is probably one of the most inconsistent teams in the bracket. I wouldn't be surprised to see them upset Memphis, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Mississippi State handled them in the first round! When playing well, the Ducks can hang with anyone, but when do they play well? What should I do with them?

yah, uh,  good luck....we haven't been able to predict this team all year.

I'd go with the Ducks over Mississippi St. (just because the SEC is really weak this year), but taking them over Memphis is something only a homer would do.   Realistically, even if Oregon does beat them both, (which is possible, they are great when they are on) nobody else in your bracket league will have it that way anyways.

SEC may be down, but MSU was #1 in the west. They have a really strong inside out game. I say flip a coin. I will be picking MSU.

Really is a toss-up game against Miss. State on Friday because of the inconsistencies the Ducks have had this year and the strength of the SEC this year...especially in the Western part of that conference. As a Duck fan, I hope the team that was in the tournament last year comes to life...even though Brooks is gone...Porter has the potential to light things up! I'd really like this game to be a shootout...as both squads have players that can score the ball! I believe that Miss. State will try and use a zone defense and traps to try and slow the Ducks fast paced offense and 3 point shooting, while the Ducks will man up and double team the Bulldogs leadings scorers in Gordon and Rhodes. The Bulldogs started slow...but really heated up in conference play...I think Coach Stansbury has done a great job there and once again bring his team back to the NCAA tournament...a team that was in the tourney 4 years in a row from '02-'05!

Should be a great game!!!

GO DUCKS!!!

Against the MSU big men the Ducks will live or die by the 3.  Ducks make 40+% of their 3's.  Last year in the Pac10 tourney Bryce Taylor made 7 or 8 threes in a row!
Porter must avoid traps when bringing the ball to the front court.
