Tough Break Charlotte

Tough break Charlotte, I thought if we could have lost a close game to Xavier or St. Joseph's then we could have gotten in.  Then again if V.Tech can't make it in with a close loss to UNC I'm not sure if we wouldn't get more than a whisper.

Now moving on I can't believe we didn't get more than a 6 seed in the NIT.... thats just some lack of respect from the NIT....I'm going to be laughing when we make it at least to the third round.  ONLY thing that sucks is we arent going to play at home unless there are some upsets.

I hope Leemire Goldwire and Lamont Mack are hot against Neb.

I have to admit I haven't seen Charlotte play this year, but I don't see anyone on their roster who can stop Alecs Maric at 6-11, 275.

Personally I don't see them getting past NU.  In the last two weeks NU has played Texas to within 4 points at Texas and lead Kansas at half time.  They are playing great ball right now.

Congrats on making the NIT Charlotte!  Hope you enjoy your last game of the season in Lincoln.  Good luck next year...

NIners had a better season than most people expected, and the future looks bright.  Losing Leemire hurts, but lots of young guys with experience coming back!! GO NINERS!

When I go to the Niners page on cbs sports, and click on alumni tracking, it shows Eddie Basden is on the Cleveland Cavaliers, but when I go to their team page, he is no where to be found.  Is this inaccurate info??  thanks.  GO NINERS!
