i' have to say that my boys surpised the hel out of me this year. i hated the fact that AI was sent to denver. I thought that it would take years to get back above 500 yet alone make the playoffs, good job boys keep doing what your doing and build of it next year.

The Sixers are now 11-2 in March by beating the Bulls with ease last night. I'm glad to see what they are doing and hopefully they can keep it up against the Suns on Friday.

Mo Cheeks Coach of the Year??

Go Sixers!

Seven games left, four against teams below .500 (home and home against the Hawks and games with the Pacers at home and the Bobcats at Charlotte) and three against teams above .500 (Pistons at home, Wizards in Washington, and Cavaliers at home). I'd love to see the Sixers finish strong here, going 5-2 or even 6-1. The fifth or sixth seed is still in play, heck even the fourth seed is (though I think that's a bit of a pipe dream).

Last night they played a good game in Jersey, with basically everyone contributing (with the exception of Reggie Evans, every starter had 10+ points) but Dalembert has to be the stand out in my opinion, going 5-8 with 15 points and grabbing 13 boards. Iggy and Miller also had double-double nights. I know that two game losing streak put a little damper on their efforts in March, but seriously, they still went 11-4, which is still great. I think they have a real shot to finish very strong heading into the playoffs and hopefully do some damage there.

They are making a 2007 Rockies like run to the playoffs in the playoff race.

The Sixers are definately making a 2007 Rockies like run and they clinched a playoff spot tonight with a win over Atlanta. I'm starting to think maybe Mo Cheeks Coach of the Year?

Unfortunately, although Coach Cheeks definitely deserves to be in the picture for Coach of the Year, I think there are probably other coaches more deserving. I would definitely look at Byron Scott from the Hornets, no one expected them to be on top of the West.

If there was a most improved coach award or comeback coach of the year award, then Mo would win that for sure.

I think even if there was a most improved or comeback award I still think Coach Cheeks would still get coach of the year because of the young kids he has taken with the little experience and some vets like Miller, and Iggy. He has mended this team into a playoff team and a good contender sooner than many expected.

They struggled down the stretch and now have to play the Pistons, I hope they at least win 2 games.

It may be tough for them because they are made up of a lot of Vets that may noit be able to keep up with this young team, but I am loving every minute of it ha.

I think the winner of tonights game takes this series.  Sixers need to leave it all on the court each game they have left to play.  They have nothing to lose.  Even if they do not advance, they still did much better than what millions of people thought they would.  GO SIXERS. . . .

Great job this year by the youthful Sixers.  I am looking forward to see how they do in 08-09.  They have nothing to be disappointed about.
