We have a chance to make a run. If you think about it, if we beat MIssissippi State and we play Memphis, we have a decent chance to beat them. Our biggest struggle is against big guys. And Memphis doesn't have any big guys. So I think we have a shot. I think Ernie will fire up the troops

Good points Vikings. Another thing to add is that Memphis is a horrible team at the foul line...so if we make it past Mississippi State on Friday and into the second round on Sunday...I think Coach Kent will tell the guys not to let Memphis make any easy shots and make them earn it at the line. The Tigers shoot around 60% from the line and have NO ONE on their team that shot about 70% from the FT line...the key to beating Memphis is to slow up their fast break game and make them prove that they can execute in half court sets...which is something they didn't do against the Vols a couple of weeks ago in that #1 vs. #2 match (the VOLS somehow got shafted by the committee with a #2 seed in the UNC bracket)! Hopefully Kent and the staff have fixed the problems defensively and DUCKS are able to muster out some wins in Little Rock this weekend!

GO DUCKS!!!

The question becomes, are the Ducks deep enough to be able to commit enough of those tempo changing fouls without it hindering their own offensive abilities?

In theory...the Ducks really don't have the depth on the bench this year. I don't expect Coach Kent to use more than 8 men in any of the tournament games unless he is forced to do so! We can't afford to have any offensive letdowns during any stretches of the game and the turnovers cannot occur like they were happening during the regular season! GO with the players you can rely on (hopefully)...Leunen, Porter, Hairston, Taylor, Catron, Longmire, Brown and Platt are who I think are part of the rotation...maybe you could through in Odia for some defense and Viney (though he is very unexperienced!).

Very exciting day. This is what we, as Ducks fans, look forward to all year. I think Coach Kent will have our boys ready. A lot of weight off their shoulders being in and now I expect them to play without worry or fear.

Good luck, Ducks and Coach !!
