You can't take anything away from Bucky here.  In th past few days, UCLA won TWO games with preferable calls.  Tennessee should have lost earlier also... and let's not even THINK about discussing the perennial DUKE advantage, in both REFS AND SEEDS!

But TODAY, the Badgers ADJUSTED to the powder puff officiating style in this game, MSU did NOT.  I'd prefer the refs would let them play - but they did not.  When they do, they Badgers will mug you all day long, a good indicator is how many minutes (6'11" 260) Stiemsma plays in a game - when they call ticky-tack, he sits.  Ed Hightower will NEVER be a favorite of Wisconsin fans - as anybody can tell you he has screwed Bucky again and again.  Bo took a timely technical, and Bucky picked it up a notch.  Bo OWNS Izzo, 11-2 since he came to Wisconsin - not a bad credential against a coach who has made Final Four 4 times...

I agree with you.  I think that part of Izzo's strategy was to be physical, and it backfired on him.  Purdue was winning that way, early in the season, by being very physical --and they were getting away with it.  But, just after they beat MSU at Mackey Arena, the officals started clamping down on that.  When Purdue traveled to Indiana, they were not doing all of that bumping out front --it was almost as if they had been warned about it.  I think Izzo must have given the Big Ten office an earfull after that game, or somebody did.
