Miner fans, I am sad to report, if you did not catch the game, one heck of a second half performance, only to have the air go out of their tires in overtime. After falling behind 13 pts to start the game, Stephon Jackson rallied his troops and almost led us to a date with Memphis, hitting clutch shot after clutch shot, but not having his number called at all in overtime. Culpepper overcame some sloppy shooting for some brilliant flashes, but we started overtime much like we started the game, sloppy. Errant shots, not running the offense, and poor free throw shooting proved to much to overcome, but the Miners gave it a shot. Kudos to the team, and lets hope for a strong showing in the NIT, where the winner gets to shout from afar "We're the 66th best team in America!" I hate that tournament, but to see the Miners play some more will be worth it.

P.S. If anyone did catch the game, what was with Kilgore? It was like he forgot how to play PG?

P.P.S  If everyone returns (Jackson), UTEP is a sexy pick next year with Culpepper running the O.
