C-Posada
1B- Pena
2b- BJ Upton
3b-AROD
ss-Jeter
OF- Manny, Carl Crawford, Markakis
P-Beckett, Halladay, Kazmir, Wang, DiceK
Bullpen-Papelbon, Joba, Accardo

Don't really like Wang much, realistically McGowan or Marcum from Toronto or Lester, Buccholz from Boston, and even Guthrie from Baltimore or Shields from TB could be better choices.

Dude, is that a Dolphins shirt! Yikes, you are a glutton for punishment!!

As for the AL East all star team, they're called the Boston Red Sox.

NufCed.

Too many good players to choose from. plus I'm bias towards the Red Sox so it would be a little lopsided with mostly Sox players and NO Yankees

I think it would be:

C- Posada (a couple years ago it would be Varitek, but Posada just had a career year at 38)

1B- Carlos Pena (Comeback player of the year last year)

2B- Robinson Cano (If he is not already, he will be a superstar in a few years)

SS- Derek Jeter (By default; other than him the only other "good" SS in the AL East is Lugo, i guess?)

3B- AROD (do we really have a choice here?)

OF- Manny Ramierez (bad year last year, but will have a better one this year), Vernon Wells (Best offensive player on the Blue Jays) Carl Crawford (Speed and defense)

SP- Josh Becket (snubbed for Cy), Roy Halladay (Great every year), Scott Kazmir (has some nasty stuff), Bartolo Calon (Just Kidding! ;-)!)

RP- Jonothan Papelbon (too good, and he has a slider now), Joba Chamberlain (100 mph every pitch), BJ Ryan (If he can get back to form) Note: If Manny Delcarmen has a good year this year he could be on here. Also I did not put Mariano Rivera on here perposfully. He is still effective, just not All-star anymore.

C- Jorge Posada (gettin old, but still a force at the plate, although i hate him)

1B- Carlos Pena (he got pop!)

2B- Robinson Cano (pretty swing) with Dustin Pedroia closing in

3B- A-rod (best in the bigs)

SS- Derek Jeter (one of the Yankees i respect)

OF- Manny Ramirez

OF- Carl Crawford

OF- Alex Rios

SP- Beckett, Wang, Halladay, Kazmir, and Phil Hughes (in a few years by default)

Only one thing I see wrong with that................only two starting Red Sox!!!!! I mean, there are sooo many players worth the All Star Team in the AL, but I think what you have is a serious possibility

Hmm, I'll go:

C - Jorge Posada (Jason Varitek is the only other one to get consideration, but he can't touch "Dumbo" offensively)

1B - Carlos Pena

2B - Brian Roberts (how is everyone overlooking him?)

SS - Derek Jeter (not many other choices... are there any?)

3B - Alex Rodriguez

LF - Manny Ramirez

CF - Vernon Wells

RF - Nick Markakis/Alex Rios (Rios has more speed, Markakis slightly more pop, pretty even here)

DH - David Ortiz

SP 1 - Josh Beckett

SP 2 - Roy Halladay

SP 3 - Chien Ming Wang

SP 4 - Scott Kazmir

SP 5 - James Shields (gets the nod over Daisuke Matsuzaka, because if you put him on the Red Sox or Yankees he'd be a star)

RP - Jonathan Papelbon

RP - Mariano Rivera

RP - B.J. Ryan (when healthy)
