Hey Blazer's fans. I'm from St. Louis so that kind of makes me a Darius Miles fan. Do you know if the Trail Blazers are planning on getting him some PT this year. I mean cmon, it didn't take Amare 2 1/2 years to recover from microfracture surgery! Yeah, I get it, you hate Darius...you can't deny the guy is freakishly athletic and has a likeable swagger to him. To sum it all up...he's a BA

Actually a lot of us blazer fans were hoping that he would play this year. He is freakishly athletic and has an incredible wingspan. It would have helped us with our weakest link which has been the inconsistant play of our small forward position. He would have brought some veteran experience too. NO we dont hate him at all. It has actually been his decision. Can i say Grant Hill in this. He tried coming back too soon and reaggrivated his injury. I mean Steve Blake, Brandon Roy, Darius Miles, LaMarcus Aldridge, and joel prizbilla. Who wouldnt love that lineup with martell comin off the bench. Thats a #6 seed at least.

darius is good, well hold on let me alter that statement, he WAS good, the last time i saw him play. Sorry the sad truth is that we have to deal him, and some other folks to tighten up the line up. Even if he does recover or whatever. He doesn't even seem like he's trying to recover- at least with Oden he looks interested on the sidelines and excited about next year. I like D M but i just feel like he's part of the past.

It's tempting to keep a guy like that based solely on his athleticism, but I question his heart and work ethic and the effect that could have on our youngsters Roy, Oden and Aldridge. Get him on the court, see if there is trade value and move him. i trust Pritchard to get value for him.

To be quite frank, I hope we dump the punk. The guy has tremendous talent but a work ethic that is pretty much non-existent. He's got a bad attitude (just as Maurice Cheeks) and he's a bad influence on the younger players. The Blazers need to dump him in whatever way they can, either by trade or just plain buy him out. All Miles can do is screw up the chemisty the team has.

I was excited for miles, but the dude has had some serious problems with attitude. He's talented, but the last of the old jail-blazer image. I think the only reason why they would play him this year would be to showcase his skills so they could trade him.. Its too bad because he was such a young talented player, really could have developed into a star.

Miles will be dealt away, but I think they will wait until next year when is value is a little higher. Portland has spent too much time and effort into disposing of the attitude problems that plagued this team to put up with another one.
