Storybook scenario would be to draft Michael Beasley and build around him,Rudy Gay,and Mike Conley.Also would be great to be able to sign Ron Artest so the roster wont be so young.So you'd have Milicic,Beasley,Artest,Gay,and Conley.That lineup would compete even in the west.Keep or trade Navarro and Miller to compliment the bench.Could land a nice center for those two guys though.Maybe resign Warrick and theres a set of 8 players for the rebuilding process.

Build around Mike Miller, Rudy Gay, and our 1st round pick in 2008. Mike Conley may become a solid player in a year or two, but I'm not sold on him yet. Kyle Lowry is ok and Juan Carlos Navarro is very streaky. Lowry and Navarro are relatively new to the NBA and could improve in the near future. That being said, Mike Miller and Rudy Gay are the keepers.

Yeah I'm really not sold on Conley either,I was suprised he went so high.Anyway I felt he probably was the best pg on the roster,but my bad I forgot about Crittenton.Guess they'll battle it out or maybe do the T.J. Ford and Calderon thing.They probably wont keep Lowry but who knows.And it wouldnt be that crazy to have Mike Miller off the bench for Ron Artest.Ron Artest could start for almost every team in the NBA,however Miller may be the 6th or 7th man on deep rosters.And Rudy Gay is up and coming so they'll probably want to resign him soon,and bringing him off the bench after having a career year wouldnt help that cause.I like Mike Miller but he's not a superstar that cant come off the bench.

I think Crittenton has the best upside of our point guards. He is already proving to be a solid guard. Conley looks too hesitant to take the outside shot and I have worries about his size. He has already spent a lot of time out due to injury in his first season. Lowry is quick, but often plays out of control and is not consistent with his shot.
Mike Miller is definitely the keeper at shooting guard. He is the best threat behind the arc that the Grizzlies have. Navarro is too short for the position and doesn't understand how to play defense. Besides, when his contract is up after next year, he will be trade bait. We got him on the cheap from Spain, and he will want a huge increase come contract renegotiation.
Rudy is the solid keeper at shooting forward. He is not the superstar the Grizzlies are looking for in the offseason, but he is certainly much improved over last year and is ready to take the big shot every game. Hakim Warrick has really come unto his own since Stro was traded and Hak got more playing time. I'd like to see more development there.
Personally, I don't think we have a legitimate power forward. Cardinal's contract will be up in a couple of years and he will be released. Kwame Brown, is definitely going to be released at the end of the season, never to be heard from again. Same with Jason Collins.
Darko is a serviceable center that has good defensive skills around the basket but needs to develop his shot. I think he is still young and can be molded into a decent center. Marc Gasol, if he signs with the Grizz, will be a top backup or a middle of the road starter.
Mark my words. The Grizzlies have opened up a LOT of cap space and are out to get a superstar on their team. I'm hearing rumors of Andre Iguodala or Monta Ellis. You heard it here first.

For as bad as the Grizz are right now thier young nucleas looks pretty damn good. I hope they keep Miller and build around him and Gay. And I still like Darko alot. When he play confidently you can see why he was the #2 pick in the draft.....not many 7ft guys can move like him.
