This is a tough one. I really believe that they have the horses to take them deep into the tournament, but, I don't know if they have the experience.

They have played well on the national stage (3-0 on national TV). They moved through the MVC Tournament pretty well, hopefully prepping them for what's to come. Let's say they get a #4 seed in the tourney. In round 2 they would have to face a #5 or #12 seed. A #5 seed is going to obviouxly be a good team, probably from a major conference. Then.....if they get to the Sweet 16, barring a major upset, they would have to beat a #1 seed to get to the Elite 8.

That being said, if they were to get into the Elite 8, I think they could even get to the Final 4, but its a tough road. I'm predicting a Sweet 16 run for them.

I will consider a trip to the Sweet 16 an enormous accomplishment for this team. I don't see them losing a first round game if they are a high seed (3, 4 or 5) but their 2nd round game will most certainly be against a "major" conference school who probably have bench players who'd be all-americans at Drake. So if they can beat a team like that, I'll be happy.

Of course, it'd be great to go farther.....one can always dream.
