First things first, get Rudy Fernandez here so he can adapt a little to our style of play, theres all around more taent in the US, so he not gonna put up stagering numbers nightly and have him run as a backup to Roy and run with the 2's. Then you sign Chris Paul, he's not losing any talent by leaving the Hornets, I know the Hornets are young too, but he must know that we are equal/if mot better without him and he could put us over the top, plus Blazers have the money to offer Paul a big contract. Now, this is where it gets good, I would give up our whole draft and Blake,Jack, Sergio, Martell, Miles, Raef, next years draft to get the number #1 or #2 pick and select Derrick Rose and have him play behind Paul, This it what our Depth Chart would look like:

C- Oden/Pryzbilla

PF-Aldrige/Frye/McRoberts

SF- Outlaw/Webster/Jones

SG- Roy/Fernandez/Jones

PG-Paul/Rose

That looks so sexy, lol, I mean this is even possible. All the players are capable of playing big minutes but there would be no need, they are so deep, that all 5 would be able to play with each other. Every night you could have a new starting 5 and it will still be like playing againt your 1's. The blazers have enough money to lock up all these players for a long time and tell me if i'm wrong that Blazermania and Rip City would be back in Portland for a long time. We could gaurantee some Championships...where is Nate, somebody get him on the phone and let me talk to him, lol.

Let me know what you think?

I don’t agree with this at all, why would we give up so much for Derrick Rose that might be good, he hasn't played a single minute yet. Just because you’re the first pick doesn’t mean your guranteed to be successful. How can Martell Webster be a back-up to Travis Outlaw when he has been traded away with everything else to get a #1 overall back-up, for Chris Paul.

What do you mean give up so much for 1 player, what other holes are we gonna need to fill:

Roy- nope only been in the league 2 years

Oden- nope, just a rookie

Aldridge- Still no, 2 years like Roy

Paul- If acquired- nope, 3 year vet

Outlaw- 4 year vet

Maybe we could get younger? We don't need to many drafty picks, and there not that much talent in this years draft, mainly top 10 picks. Rose is a beast and if you haven't watched him you need to, he will be another Chris Paul with springs. How many point guards you know that can catch alley oops and throw down like they were a Forward.

Please inform me why you wouldn't give away this much for Derrick Rose...I'll wait, tell me what other holes in our lineup that we need to fill. I'll give you your point on Webster, i guess. Oden hasn't played a single minute and everyone knows he going to be tearing up the league. Don't rely on fact like "they haven't played a single minute, so they are not guaranteed to be successful", that's crap, start watching players and realize there potential.

Then why would we trade all these picks for another Chris Paul when we already signed him as your idea suggest? Yes he does have great potential but that doesn’t mean has going to be a great player. Kwame Brown, Michael Olowokandi, Jonathan Bender These players had great potential but they turned out to be busts. Why would we draft a player #1 overall and have him play behind Chris Paul and pay him all that money to come in and give Paul a breather. We don’t have many holes now but trading all these players Blake, Jack, Sergio, Martell, Miles, Raef away as you previously stated we would just end up with more holes, some of them we can let go of but not all of them.

What's going on with Miles and the Blazers anyways. Last I heard he was practicing and was wanting to play. I know the Blazers aren't wanting him in the rotation in fear of ruining the chemestry, but has anyone heard any further plans with him?

Will they buy out his contract?

Find sucker team to trade for him?

Any ideas?

I don't care either way, I just don't want him on this team.

I understand that you can't give away all those player and draft picks, I wasn't thinking everyone was gonna take me serious like that. I figured everyone would have thought that I ment to just do whatever you have to do to get him as a draft pick.

GIve Paul a breather? Paul is not going to run all game, who better than have Rose come in learn from Paul and watch his game rise to the next level. McMillen has a great mind and knows match ups, think of all the different line ups he could mix wth all those players. Say somebody get hurt, he would be able to place someone with out missing a beat.

Well 1st there is no way in the world Paul is leaving NOH. They are a Contender team right now! He has no reason to split. If this Rose is as good as you say he then why not just make a play for him.. give up Martell, Miles, Lafrenz, Jack and Picks thats fine with me.

Keepers:

Roy, LA, Oden, TO, SB, Rudy, Prys, Frye, Jones

Dead Weight:

Miles, Lafrenz, Jack, Martell, Wafer, Sergio

CP3 is not leavin NO. Not happening. However, I would like the Blazers to get an everyday PG. Blake is ok, but Jack flatout sucks! (sorry Jarrett, but you do). I think they should trade those 2 for a top 10 PG. Or, as i stated in another thread, get a good perimeter defender. Too many slashers in the west for Martell or Travis to guard
