Right now its looks like the Buffs are done for...unless they can somehow win the Big 12 Tournament.

So without the the one scholarship that they have, how many games will the buffs win next year?

So far it appears great minds think alike.  The Buffs have a great recruiting class signed and a sixth 3-star recruit ready to sign.  This is according to his cousin and his host for his visit who plays on the football team.  I overheard him on the bus saying that his cousin was really close to committing to CU.  With this good class there could be a lot of freshman impact on the team mainly Toby Veal who looks to be a highly ranked three star recruit and CU's first Rivals Top 150 Recruit since the days of Chauncey.  I am looking forward to next year and hopefully Buzz can keep up the gimmicks to try and get fans(mainly students) to the games.

Guess I've been waiting for 25 years for something sustainable regarding CU hoops, seems we never turn the corner.  I hope you are right, but my gut tells me it will be another losing season.  There are just too many games that are in the loss column without a major upset.

I hope I'm wrong, but now I'm jaded and truly believe CU just don't equal basketball success.

Just wanted to spread the word on this site, it gives you 10 cents to start off with and you can cash out if you make it over 10 dollars. Its free and pretty cool if you are new to sports betting like me. Copy and paste this link.

Seriously, if you like to bet its a sweet site.  Everybody that checks it out thinks it's brilliant.

I truly believe that Jeff Bzdelik will turn this program into a contender within the next two years.  Look what he did with Air Force?  He made it to the NCAA tourney with them.  He is a great defensive coach and will recruit excellent players to fit his system.  Just give him a year or two.

Bzdelik is on the right track.  Things can't be rushed in a power conference like the Big 12.  Like tho old CU football coach Bill McCartney said, "in order to compete with the best, you have to recruit the same players they do."  Thats what Buzz can do.  He lost out on Wesley Whitherspoon who signed to Memphis.  Whitherspoon had narrowed his choices to 4 schools and CU was one of them.  That is just a glimpse of what is to come.
