Can't believe he said that

I was just watching sportscenter and saw a highlight where the Sox were visiting the President and he (jokingly) said ..."Manny Ramirez isn't here, I think his Grandmother passed away again" then gave his I'm so great smirk.

I can't believe that at some point his speech writers and he agreed that it was funny to make a joke about someone's dead relative. I was absolutely stunned.

Why isn't that funny? I love the Red Sox and Manny, but Manny hates ending his winter break. He has said his grandamother died a few times and came to camp late or skipped an all star game.

What we should be talking about is how Manny blew of visiting the VETS. He plays a game and make millions because of the freedom he has due to those Vets.

Like I said I love Manny , but this was poor judgement on his part. How about giving a little back?

Yea, he has used it as an excuse a few different times. You would think that Manny would want to go to the White House to meet the President, but its Manny being Manny.
