I was kind of hoping we would do a minor move at the deadline just to clear up some roster space or better yet, playing time for others on the team. I hope to see Ager – DNP, Swift – DNP, and Diop (7min) play more down the stretch. Hassell is a veteran, and you know what to expect from him (good defense, little offense). Harris, who is still hurt and I’m glad because now we can see what Marcus Williams has to offer with full time play over a long stretch before Harris comes back and takes over. I would of like to have seen Magloire (DNP again and seems to be the last player on the bench now) and Nachbar traded. Nachbar trade would of open up more playing time for Ager at the two-guard. As for Boone and Sean Williams, they are both the same type of player (Williams probably better long-term), now have to fight for playing time with Swift, Kristic, Diop, and sometimes Nachbar. I know everybody wants to see them make the playoffs but I rather see them play the younger guys more to see what we have in them for the future and not make the playoffs (we are not going to win anyway) then play Carter, Jefferson and the same four to five guys every night. They have a roster with a lot of young unproven talent that they need to go through and see who to keep and get rid of after the season. We have to start thinking about next year now.

Gambi I still think we can make a run only because we have one of the deepest benches in the East. I blame all the playing time on Frank. Why didn't Swift play and why didn't Diop get any more then 7 minutes. He blocked a bunch of shots and grabbed a good amount of boards. I personally think Frank is terrible. I don't mind Nachbar playing at all but the fact of the matter is he didn't have to extend Carter to 40 minutes. He shot the ball okay but he wasn't on fire or anything. Frank will eventually wear Carter and RJ out anyway costing us any run in the playoffs cause they will have dead legs anyway. We have a deep bench use it.

Use Marcus with Swift, Boone and Williams while Devin is still out. He can penetrate and they can clean up the boards if the shooting is a little off. Use Kristic and Diop together because we know Kristic isn't a shot blocker so Diop can come over and help to block shots. COME ON FRANK USE THE BENCH WILL YOU!

Swift was sick. He had the flu. But I am still confused as to why Swift doesn't play more. Thorn traded for this guy and has been intrigued by Swift for a while. I know he has a negative stigma attached to him from his time on other teams, but that has nothing to do with us.

I agree that Frank has used the bench incorrectly at times. Last night, we were getting beat by Deiner off the dribble. Deiner was a tremendous shooter, but not known as a penetrator. Anyway, Frank goes and put in Armstrong while removing M. Williams. The move I hoped he would do would have been to take M. Williams out and bring in Hassell. Let Carter handle the ball. Frank allowed the Pacers to dictate how the game was to go.

Ager got some minute and looked like trash. I know it was just his first game, but he did not impress. The Nets were prepared coming out of half-time. I still like Frank, but that goes against him.

I also think Frank is doing a horrible job with his bench. You guys bring up great points. Jefferson and Carter should be held to like 34 mins a night and the bench needs to be allowed to play more minutes. We have a deep bench and Frank doesn't use it.. Everyone knows that except the coach . UUGgghhh

I like when Carter has the ball in his hands. He is a very talented passer. As far as Ager he's basically a throw in. I would have done Harris for Kidd straight up. We need Swift and Diop to get more minutes. I didn't hear that Swift was sick last night. Thanks for pointing that out. I agree Hassell can be a defensive stopper.
