	Could Iowa State finish with a 18-13 regular season record. It could be likely as they have a strong chance of beating Texas Texh, Colardo, and Missouri. Figure they can make one last blow at Kansas state and win in an upset and figure losing at Kansas they finish 18-13. As long as everyone stays healthy they have a good chance in my mind. Now going into the big 12 tournament as a 5 seed I see them winning there first 2 games. That makes them 20-13. Now if Texas wins the big 12 regular season conference Iowa State is likely to play them. Last time they gave Texas a scare in a overtime loss. I think they beat them and go 21-13 but loose in the championship and finsh 21-14. They are a lock at a 7 to 10 seed. If Kansas wins they big 12 regular season I say they loose in the 3rd round and finish the season 20-14. They have a chance at a 10 to 12 seed and maybe not even get in. They have key wins vs purdue and @ oregon state. Lets hope all goes well and they make the tournament.

	With the exception of Oreg St. this team has not even been that competitive on the road. I love your optimism, but we lack the talent at this time to make any of your scenarios happen. We would be lucky to win 2 of the remaining games given the fact that our home games are against K-state and Kansas. What I am really concerned with is seeing us continue to battle every game and improve our fundamentals. In addition, I would really love to see Brackins get back on track and give me some renewed enthusiasm for next year.

	Oregon St is also the worst team in the Pac 10 and I believe they fired their coach shortly after the ISU game. I agree 2 more wins is likely all we will see and will need an upset in Big 12 tourney just to get NIT. I can see that happening, but no way you can realistically think we can win 20 games with a team that struggles to score 60 points a night. Improved guard play , especially Haluska, was welcomed in second half against Nebraska, but we need to see that against teams in the upper half of the league.

	As great as that all sounds I believe it would still leave us on the outside looking in. Losses to 3 MVC teams really hurts, including the 35 point blow out by Drake, even if they will be a 4 seed. Huge win over Purdue, but the OSU game does not really help us. Would have had a better shot if we picked up the win at Minn or against Bama. If we do finish out strong I believe we have a pretty solid shot at making some noise in the NIT or atleast the thrid tourny whatever it is called.

	Great dream....keep it alive for next year. Not a reality this year.....but they are moving in the right direction. I think Coach Mac will have them in the upper division next year and will stay there for years to come. He's building a good foundation.

	Actually, it's not. I like seeing the guards being a little more confident and knocking down some shots! Unfortunately, I really dislike seeing Brackins shoot or play D lately. I'm sure the staff is working with him, but they don't appear to be doing a great job or he just is struggling to feel comfortable. I'm rooting for this kid to finish strong!

	We have the team to win all remaining games and always play KU tough at home. The NCAA tournament is a possibility with some help and luck. Win the Big 12 tournament and then ISU is in! Wesley Johnson and Brackins need to kick it in gear the remaining games. A NIT bid would satisfy this season ticket holder as well.
