Hibbert not a 1st round pick?  Come on now, im not a Hibbert fan but he will be a mid first round pick.  A 7'3 center who is a pretty good on ball defender, and a great team mate.  No way he makes it past the 20th pick.  Hibbert will be a 10 and 6 guy his whole career from day 1 till the day he retires.  The Wolves just better not draft him with there top 5 pick.

Lopez boys are very similar.  Unless the NBA packages the to together.  Wouldnt that be something, the Wolves aquire 2 Lopez boys to play center next to big Al.

I think Brook Lopez will be drafted in the top 5 so I think the T Wolves will take a good look at him. DeAndre Jordon is a project so yeah I'd say outside of the 7th pick.

But you are right, no need to reach. The Wolves have plenty of needs. Outside of Jefferson and Foye each player on the Wolves could be replaced or sent to the bench with this pick.

Hibbert is definitely a 1st round pick, but I wouldn't be surprised he isn't picked in the lottery.
I would LOVE to have both the Lopez boys. We would have a lot of D and rebounding with the Lopezs and Jefferson. Too bad there is a good chance Robin will be picked in the 1st round before our 2nd round pick.

Honestly, I don't know how the draft is done in the NBA that well.  How about a package of our 2nd rounder and a player like, for instance, (just throwing it out there) McCants or Gomes?

Would that work to get a 15 - 20 or so pick to go along with our own first rounder?

Minny Madness-Hibbert is barely a 10 and 6 player in colllege, how will he do it in the NBA? He's 7'3" and was the 33rd best rebounder in his conferance! The only way he goes top 10 is if McHale picks him. He's not good and he will probably average less than 10 minutes per as a rookie.

Love, Hansbrough, Jordan, Lopez, Lopez, Padgett and Dorsey are likely to be drafted ahead of Hibbert and not one of them will be a top 5 pick.

Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose, OJ Mayo, Eric Gordon, Brandon Rush and Ty Lawson should be the top 6 assuming they all come out. Plus one Euro player that will go to the Wolves at No. 5!

It would be nice to package our 2 early second round picks to move into the first round. But I do no think this is possible (reasoning is I haven't seen it before), unless a team wants cap relief like last year when the Suns virtually sold their pick.

Ok so I don't like Hibbert that much. But I wouldn't mind him on the Wolves if it cost us a 1st rounder in the 20s or a 2nd. I think Hibbert is better than Padgett. Hansbrough and Dorsey do not have a true position and that is why it is hard to project them and why they are not lottery picks.

I don't feel Brandon Rush or Ty Lawson are top 6 picks at all!

asdfghjkl what Euro player are you feeling? Danilo Gallinari?

Thats a pretty good list. I am not a big fan of Mayo and Gordon because I feel we have similar players on the team right now in McCants and Foye. Although Mayo and Gordon may be better.

I think Lopez is a little low but I am a big supporter of him.

Also I think Thabeet is to low but all in all solid list.

My Top 5 but this tends to change weekly.  I actually ripped Derrick Rose earlier because I hardly saw any of him this year and his stats were average at best but after watching him in the Tournament, I've vaulted him to #1.  I was wrong on him, he's a stud.  He's got a high basketball IQ and he has all of the physical tools.

1.  Derrick Rose

2.  Tyler Hansbrough

3.  Kevin Love

4.  Michael Beasley

5.  DeAndre Jordan

If the Timberwolves get one of these 5 players, I'm a happy camper.
