I for one am hoping the Redskins will keep their picks.  Hopefully the Bengals and the Cardinals won't lure the Dan in.  Hopefully dan was just testing the waters to se if either Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin could be had for something they are not to interested in holding anyway.  I think the redskins want to get rid of their first round pick because they don't really think any of the players they want will be on the board when they draft.  I am also guessing they are probably having trouble finding any takers on someone will to move up for their position in the draft.  The redskins could just be testing the waters with the pick to see if either of those two teams would bite before they decide to keep the pick or try to trade down for a bargain.

The Redskins are focused on the DL for the draft and this could be the year they take a DL guy in the first round since 1997 when they took kenard lang.  The redskins are still interested in calais campbell and phillip merling so hopefully we will get someone we need.

They are actually NOT interested in Calais Campbell, which makes me happy. Most of his draft stock is simply because of his size and coming from Miami. The Redskins have let it known that they do not have him high on their board. That link you attached simply states the top prospects. They really like Merling at 21. I read it from LaConfora on Washingtonpost.com. Search Redskins insider and you should find the first link to his page. You can see more their.

I actually read that Miami is looking to move back into the first round so that may give the Redskins an option.

I would be nice if Harvey would fall down to them, but I do not think that will happen.I just hope we do not trade our picks away for old over priced cry babies.(Johnson)

If they pass on Calais Campbell atleast we will know our coaches had alot of insight into calais.  Our new DL coach was from miami and the last year he had calais I thought I read somewhere was the best year at calais had at miami.  I dont know I think I read that somewhere but perhaps I am mistaken.  I like the idea of drafting phillip merling also because I think we would be better off going for a DL or OL guy rather then a WR or DB.

I wonder if there will be an extra DL guy on the board since the cheifs made the trade with the Vikings for Jared Allen.  I would assume the cheifs will draft one of the top prospects in the draft for dl with their first pick but then take another postion with the 17th pick.

I think the Chiefs actually got the better end of that deal.  They get the
