You earn 1 point for each $1 a golfer earns at the end of a tournament so it will vary from tournament to tournament.
The points you see while a tournament is going on is only a projection of what $ amount your golfers would receive if the tournament were to end right now.
The only points that are static are any bonuses earned if any of your golfers lead during the first three rounds.
50000 points leader round 1
100000 points leader round 2
200000 points leader round 3
If you picked KJ Choi this week you are guaranteed 350000 points the rest of the points won't be official until the tournament is completed.
Should KJ not win the tournament his projected earnings of $954000 would go to the eventual winner.
