This article unites my two favorite passions- basketball and Prince music.  I've played ball at Paisley Park a few times with some of his entourage- it's a blast!  As for Planet Earth, I quite like it!  "Lion of Judah", "Planet Earth", "The One U Wanna C" and "Somewhere Here on Earth" are all fantastic!

There's an element of truth to this story and Charlie Murphy's skit. In an 80's Rolling Stone article about Prince, the writer commented how good Prince was at playing basketball and in glam regalia too.

I used to live by him, In chanhassen, and from what I hear he was pretty dang good as a high school b-ball player ....  so maybe this isn't as far of a stretch as one would think!!!
