HENDERSON, Nev. -- The marquee triple-header at the Reebok Summer Championships didn't disappoint because the stars pretty much played like stars. To put into context what kind of talent was on display consider that five of Scout.com's Top 10 prospects in the Class of 2009 -- and a total of 10 Top 75 recruits -- were involved, as well as a top five player from the Class of 2010.
Consequently, practically every college coach imaginable popped in at one time or another -- including Mike Brey (Notre Dame), Paul Hewitt (Georgia Tech), Sean Miller (Xavier), Derek Kellogg (UMass), Gene Cross (Toledo), Tony Barbee (UTEP), Mark Turgeon (Texas A&M), Bill Self (Kansas), Billy Donovan (Florida), Mark Gottfried (Alabama), John Calipari (Memphis), John Beilein (Michigan), Rick Stansbury (Mississippi State), Matt Doherty (SMU), Tim Floyd (USC), Scott Drew (Baylor), Travis Ford (Oklahoma State), Buzz Williams (Marquette), Jeff Capel (Oklahoma), Darrin Horn (South Carolina), Dana Altman (Creighton), Kevin Stallings (Vanderbilt), Bo Ryan (Wisconsin), Seth Greenberg (Virginia Tech), Bob McKillop (Davidson), Lute Olson (Arizona), Rick Barnes (Texas), Frank Haith (Miami), John Groce (Ohio), Phil Martelli (Saint Joseph's), Jerry Wainwright (DePaul), Blaine Taylor (Old Dominion), Bobby Lutz (Charlotte), Dino Gaudio (Wake Forest), Frank Martin (Kansas State) and, well, that's all I can remember off the top of my head.
Simply put, the place was filled with coaches watching players.
And Kenny Boynton (ranked eighth in the Class of 2009) probably provided the best performance of the day.
The combo guard made 12-of-19 shots and finished with 33 points to lead Team Breakdown to an 85-73 comeback win over the Northwest Panthers. Team Breakdown trailed 44-30 at the half but rallied thanks to Boynton, who hit a long 3-pointer -- like from-the-volleyball-line long -- with 8:22 remaining to give Team Breakdown its first lead, one that it would never relinquish.
Anyway, here's how the other Top 100 prospects in the three Reebok games I watched performed in their initial outings:

- John Wall (ranked third in 2009): 30 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for D-One Sports in an 87-80 win over World Wide Orange.
- John Henson (ranked fourth in 2009): 25 points and 14 rebounds for Franchise All-Stars in a 73-69 win over L.A. Dream Team.
- Renardo Sidney (ranked fifth in 2009): 15 points and five rebounds for L.A. Dream Team in a 73-69 loss to Franchise All-Stars.
- Abdul Gaddy (ranked ninth in 2009): 24 points and eight assists for Northwest Panthers in an 85-73 loss to Team Breakdown.
- Ryan Kelly (ranked 13th in 2009): 20 points and 14 rebounds for D-One Sports in an 87-80 win over World Wide Orange.
- Avery Bradley (ranked 13th in 2009): 20 points and two assists for Northwest Panthers in an 85-73 loss to Team Breakdown.
- Mfon Udofia (ranked 40th in 2009): 20 points and seven rebounds for World Wide Orange in an 87-80 loss to D-One Sports.
- Ari Stewart (ranked 56th in 2009): 22 points and four rebounds for World Wide Orange in an 87-80 loss to D-One Sports.
- Richard Howell (ranked 74th in 2009): 21 points and five rebounds for World Wide Orange in an 87-80 loss D-One Sports.
- Brandon Knight (ranked fifth in 2010): 26 points and two assists for Team Breakdown in an 85-73 win over Northwest Panthers
