So the Red Wings series against the Colorado Avalanche got off to a good start last night. Jose Theodore saved only 12 of 16 shots from the Red Wings and was forced to be pulled. After being up 4-1 the Avs made a push and about scared me to death with a near goal the end of regulation. This first game of the series reminded me about how much I hate the Avalanche. After the anti-christ(Claude Lemieux) hit Kris Draper, which was a huge cheap shot, I just hated them. I hate them to this day with a passion. It is somewhat fun living in Colorado because everyone is an Avs fan and they just can't seem to beat the Wings. It gives me immense bragging rights even though everybody pretty much hates me for.

Well it's looking like its going to be a nice and physical series and it should be fun. I'm going to Game 3 ad possibly game 4 as well. I'll be one of the only Wings fans so it will definitely be tons of fun.
