Pac-10 Power Rankings, Week 7

Posted on: February 18, 2008 12:39 pm

For once, the rankings stay the same as the previous week.

1.  UCLA (1) That type of gritty defensive effort against USC is why i think they will do well again in March.

2. Stanford (2) They got away with one in Tucson, still in good shape.

3.  Washington State (3) They appear to have rebounded nicely and could become a force again.

4. USC (4) The rankings get messy here.  The Trojans might be sliding but they get the Ducks and Beavs at home at this week.

5. Arizona State (5) They're sticking around for the long run, but their remaining schedule is tough.

6. Arizona (6) Could their Tourney appearance streak end this year?  I say no.

7. Oregon (7) Not a good time for them to be going to LA.

8. Cal (8) Nice win in Tempe, but it's looking like the NIT for them.

9. Washington (9) I think i might have to start researching this CBI thing.

10. Oregon State (10) Losing at home by 38 to the 9th place team?  Yeah, they're going 0-fer.
