Pete Pistone has been associated with auto racing most of his life. His uncle 'Tiger' Tom Pistone was a NASCAR driver in the 1950s and '60s and Pete literally grew-up in the pits.

A motorsports journalist for nearly 20 years, Pete has a wide range of both print and broadcast experience. He has covered the sport for RacingOne.com, one of the largest independent motorsports websites, since 2001.

Pete is an on-air sports reporter for Chicago's WGN Radio as well as the station's motorsports expert. His weekly racing segments air on WGN's popular Sports Central program Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Pete also is a sports reporter for Comcast SportsNet Chicago and provides auto racing reports to the station. He was a reporter for CLTV for six years where he produced and hosted Victory Lane, a weekly hour-long motorsports program.

Pete has covered auto racing for the Chicago Sun-Times since 1995, and has also written for such publications as Speedway Illustrated, Circle Track and Stock Car Racing Magazine. His on-air experience also includes a daily syndicated radio report, pit reporting for ASA Late Model telecasts, work for SPEED Channel, Chicago's WLS-TV (ABC) and WGN-TV.

Pete live in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and daughter.
