Grove finds groove at right time; rookie becomes 'The Ultimate Fighter'
What a night for fights. Kendall Grove possibly saves his UFC career with an impressive split-decision win over Evan Tanner. Also, rookie Amir Sadollah makes history as the first rookie to be 'The Ultimate Fighter,' Denny Burkholder says.

Noons defends title, Diaz instigates rumble at Honolulu EliteXC event
K.J. Noons overwhelms Yves Edwards to defend his EliteXC lightweight title on Saturday. Then, during his postfight celebration, an uninvited Nick Diaz sparks a melee that involves his brother and Noons' father, among others. Also, Smith-Lawler II is set for July 26 on CBS, Denny Burkholder says.

Faber survives Pulver, defends title in WEC war
He's never gone five rounds, but Urijah Faber makes sure the effort isn't in vain. Using a varied attack, Faber pleases Sacramento and defends his WEC title by winning a decision over Jens Pulver. It's a quality match between two fighters who respect each other, Denny Burkholder says.
