Tigers report: Inside slant
Yes, Missouri is a legitimate contender for the national championship.

Tigers report: Notes, quotes
--The attendance of 26,322 for the spring game was a record at Missouri, and more than tripled the next largest crowd on record for the event

Tigers report: Strategy and personnel
2008 OUTLOOK: Improvement within the Big 12 North is best reflected by the surge at Missouri, especially since the Tigers could easily be favored to win the conference outright in 2008

Missouri's Daniel enjoying the million-dollar Buffett
He has high-powered fans (e.g. Warren Buffett) and a high-powered O at Missouri. For QB Chase Daniel, already a Columbia legend, it's time to show his poise if the Tigers are to contend in the BCS, Dennis Dodd says.

Despite being undersized, QBs in the Big 12 get the job done
Nebraska's Joe Ganz wasn't highly recruited out of high school, told he was too small to play quarterback on the college level. Any other conference, maybe that holds true. Not in the Big 12.

What do you think the chances are that Blaine Gabbert will get a couple series to play every game? I think it is possible to have the same effect Tebow had his freshman year behind Chris Leak. If he isn't going to play at all, I would just rather see him redshirted. That way he could start in 2009 with 4 years of eligibility.

By Nostradamus. Entering my personal rankings as the second best conference coming into the 2008 season, the Big 12 has many good things to boast about. At the end of the 2007 season, they had four teams ranked in the final top 10 rankings.
They had two teams that played in BCS bowl games and three teams with serious National Championship considerations nearing the last two

I think we are destined for an 11-1 season with our only loss being at Texas. If we play Texas in the Big 12 championship again, I would give Mizzou the advantage. However, if it is against Oklahoma, I would be afraid. I still like Mizzou receiving a BCS bid even if they lose twice.
