FINAL RECORD
9-9, 11-19, fifth in SWAC.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Southern was tough to beat in the conference on their home floor, going 6-3. When the Jaguars managed to score 70 points or more in SWAC play, they were 7-2.

WHAT WENT WRONG
It was kind of a strange season with Chris Davis taking off in December for personal reasons and then returning to lead the team in scoring. The Jaguars went 3-6 on the road in SWAC competition.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"This team has created matchup problems for us the last four years. It's a terrible team for us to match up against. We played two different zones and played man-to-man and nothing worked." -- Alabama A&M head coach Van Pettaway, to the Huntsville Times, after his team was eliminated from the SWAC tournament by Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
