FINAL RECORD
25-9, 15-3, second place Big Ten

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The underclassmen grew up faster than anyone could have imagined. E'Twaun Moore took over as the team's leading scorer, Robbie Hummel proved he was ready to play down low and Purdue won a lot more games than anyone expected.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Considering the preseason outlook, not much. There was that humiliating loss to Wofford before Christmas, but the players responded by ripping off 12 wins in 13 games to become legitimate Big Ten contenders.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We were one or two possessions away from being in Phoenix (for the Sweet 16). Maybe we did surprise a few people, but I don't think we surprised ourselves." -- Freshman Robbie Hummel
