FINAL RECORD
18-14, 9-9, tied fifth in Pac-10.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Their three senior starters -- Malik Hairston, Maarty Leunen and Bryce Taylor -- all graduated early. The Ducks, seemingly out of the hunt for a postseason bid, won their final three Pac-10 games to get even in the conference and give themselves a chance.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Despite having four starters back -- the three seniors plus Tajuan Porter -- from the team that advanced to the final eight last season, the Ducks battled a befuddling amount of inconsistency and finished 18-14. Coach Ernie Kent finished the season still one game shy of tying the Oregon record for coaching victories in a career.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We had a lot of open shots. We just weren't able to make it, that's all." -- Senior Maarty Leunen after the Ducks missed 17 consecutive 3-point attempts in the NCAA opening-round loss to Mississippi State .
