THE GOOD NEWS
There are plenty of players returning, and coach Mike McConathy always uses his bench. Twelve players scored in double-figures, so everyone has contributed at times.

THE BAD NEWS
The team needs new go-to guys. F Trey Gilder is gone. Wing Colby Bargeman is gone. The team's top two scorers, top two rebounders and top defender in Bargeman have finished their NSU careers. Big men Gerrell Thomas and Jerry Moody will leave a gap on the interior.

KEY RETURNEES
More is going to be expected from G Keithan Hancock, a streaky outside shooter. Hancock was the third-leading scorer on the team this season. G Michael McConathy must cut down on his 112 turnovers. Once he settles, he can be a solid point guard. Wing Damon Jones is another streaky shooter, but he could be more reliable as he matures.

ROSTER REPORT

--Senior wing Colby Bargeman grabbed 60-plus rebounds for the second season in a row. Bargeman closed his career with 170 steals.

--Senior F Trey Gilder, who led NSU in scoring, was the only player in the Southland to score 30-plus points in two games.
