THE GOOD NEWS
Michigan State loses only two seniors that made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. F Raymar Morgan appears poised to become a star in the Big Ten. He averaged a team-high 14.1 points a game as a sophomore. G Kalin Lucas is ultra quick and averaged 10.2 points a game as a freshman.

THE BAD NEWS
G Drew Neitzel, a senior, was the heart and soul of the team and an all-Big Ten performer. His leadership and ability to perform in the clutch will be missed. C Drew Naymick, Michigan State's all-time leading shot blocker graduates, leaving a void in the low post on defense.

KEY RETURNEES
Morgan and Lucas should give Michigan State a good inside-outside combination. C Goran Suton also has one year of eligibility remaining after averaging 9.0 points and 8.2 rebounds. F Delvon Roe, a high school player from Lakewood, Ohio, highlights an outstanding recruiting class and should contribute immediately down low as a freshman next season.

ROSTER REPORT

--G Drew Neitzel finished his career with 582 assists to rank fourth on Michigan State's all-time list behind Mateen Cleaves (816), Scott Skiles (645) and Eric Snow (599). Neitzel also finished 10th in Big Ten history. He leaves as the Spartans' all-time leader in field goal percentage at .866.

--F Goran Suton had his best game of the season with a season-high 23 points and nine rebounds in the loss to Memphis in the NCAA South Regional semifinals. Suton's career scoring high is 27 against Loyola-Maryland in 2006-07.

--G Chris Allen scored a career-high 20 points in the loss to Memphis, more than triple his freshman season average of 6.3. Allen's previous career best was 17 against Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 14 and Northwestern on Jan. 24.
